Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper will return to the lineup today after sitting out the team's last 57 games with a thumb injury. Harper tore a ligament in his left thumb sliding headfirst into a base on April 26 and had surgery a few days later.

Harper hit three home runs in his final rehab start on Saturday.

Harper's return means Ryan Zimmerman will return to third base, after playing in the outfield during Harper's absence.

Zimmerman is batting fifth tonight against the Rockies, with Harper right behind him playing left field.
