Rockies will use special balls this weekend in honor of Todd Helton
The Rockies will use special balls for this weekend's series against the Reds in honor of ex-Colorado first baseman Todd Helton.
Each game of the series will have a different Helton-themed promotion. Fans at Friday's game will receive a "farewell" Todd Helton bobblehead. Saturday's giveaway is a Helton jersey. The Rockies will retire Helton's No. 17 on Sunday and fans will receive a Helton "Bobble Gnome."

Helton spent his entire 17-year career with the Rockies. He was selected to five consecutive All-Star teams from 2000 to 2004.
Helton is Colorado's all-time leader in games played, hits, doubles, home runs and RBIs.
