Veteran left-handed pitcher Jorge De La Rosa has reached a two-year extension with the Rockies, the team announced late Wednesday night.
Terms of the deal are not immediately known and the extension will completed pending league approval. De La Rosa, who turns 34 in April, is 13-10 with a 4.26 ERA. It's the second consecutive year he's won at least 13 games.
The Rockies are currently fifth in the NL West. They wrapped up their series vs. the Giants on Wednesday night with a 9-2 win at home. Colorado plays next on Friday with the first game of a three-game home stand vs. the Padres.
