San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is cleared to resume baseball activities, Giants manager Bruce Bochy said.
Belt has not played since Aug. 7 after having a recurrence of concussion-like symptoms after being originally hit in the face by a ball during batting practice on July 19.
Bochy said that Belt will rejoin the team in San Francisco on Friday and that his activities will be "ramped up."
