Braves catcher Evan Gattis will miss Sunday's series finale on the road vs. the Rangers because of strep throat, according to David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The Braves are second in the NL East heading into the game on Sunday. Gattis, 28, is batting .270 with 22 home runs and 52 RBI on the season.
He's been out since Monday with strep and there's no timetable for his return. He missed time earlier this summer with a bulging thoracic disc in July.
