The Brewers intend to exercise their part of a $14 million mutual option on Aramis Ramirez, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. 

Milwaukee could buy out the veteran third baseman for $4 million but will instead look to bring him back on the one-year deal. It's not immediately clear whether the three-time All-Star will ultimately decline the option to become a free agent.

The 36-year-old is hitting .295 with 16 homers and 65 RBI in 123 games.
