Derek Jeter records RBI infield single in final career at-bat
Derek Jeter's 20-year MLB career came to a close Sunday in Boston against the Red Sox. Yankees manager Joe Girardi pulled Jeter from the game after an RBI infield single in the fifth inning.

Jeter's hit to score Ichiro Suzuki was the 3,465th of his career and brought his career batting average to .310.
Jeter exited the game to standing ovation from the crowd in Boston, which including many Yankee fans.

Jeter's final career game at Yankee Stadium was on Thursday night. His walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Yankees a win over the Orioles.
The Yankees missed the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time in Jeter's career.
