According to the Yankees' spring training schedule, they will travel to Port St. Lucie on March 22 to play at the Mets’ spring training home, and the Mets will make the trip to Tampa on March 25.
The teams last met in spring training in April 2012 after 16 years without playing each other.
The Mets finished the season with a 79-83 record, and the Yankees finished at 84-78. The teams will meet for their first regular season game on April 24 at Yankee Stadium.
