Dodgers manager Don Mattingly becomes a dad again
LOS ANGELES (AP) Dodgers manager Don Mattingly has added to his lineup card with the birth of a fourth son.
A team spokesman said Tuesday that Louis Riley Mattingly was born Saturday. He weighed 7 1/2 pounds and is 20 inches. The infant shares a birthday with Dodgers Hall of Fame announcer Vin Scully.
Mattingly and his wife, Lori, married four years ago in his hometown of Evansville, Indiana, where they live in the offseason.
The 53-year-old manager has three grown sons from his first marriage and two stepchildren with his second wife.
One of his sons, Preston, tweeted a photo of the infant, saying, ''Meet my new baby brother Louis Riley Mattingly. Great name, however I will still be calling him Don Jr.''
In October, Mattingly said, ''I'm excited. It's a different time in my life to have a kid. I think it's going to be great.''
