The Atlanta Braves and relief pitcher Michael Kohn have agreed to a one-year deal, according to the Associated Press

It is a minor league deal that includes an invitation to spring training, reports the AP.

Kohn had a 3.04 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 25 games for the Los Angeles Angels in 2014. The 28-year-old has a career 3.73 ERA in 110.1 innings and missed the entire 2012 season after having Tommy John surgery.

CORCORAN: Can Markakis produce for Braves like Heyward did?

On Wednesday, Atlanta agreed to a four-year deal with rightfielder Nick Markakis and a one-year deal with veteran relief pitcher Jim Johnson.

Last month, the Braves traded outfielder Jason Heyward and pitcher Jordan Walden to the St. Louis Cardinals for pitchers Shelby Miller and Tyrell Jenkins.

The Braves finished tied for second in the NL East last season with a 79-83 record.
