The Washington Nationals have agreed to a deal with catcher Wilson Ramos, the team announced on Thursday.
The deal is worth $3.55 million, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com.
By agreeing to the deal, a raise over his $2.095 million salary last season, the Nationals avoided arbitration with Ramos.
Over 88 games last season, his fifth in Washington, Ramos batted .267 with a .299 on-base percentage, 11 home runs and 47 RBI.
The 27-year-old spent time on the disabled list with a broken hand and a strained hamstring.
The Nationals went 96-66 and finished first in the National League East last season before falling to the San Francisco Giants in the NLDS.
