The San Francisco Giants unveiled a new black alternate jersey on Friday.

The San Francisco Giants unveiled a new black alternate jersey on Friday. 

The jersey will make its debut on May 2 as part of the team's "Metallica Day" promotion.

Last season, the Giants used four jerseys: two gray road ones, a cream-colored one and an orange one.

You can see all five of the Giants' 2015 jerseys, including the new black one, below, as worn by second baseman Joe Panik:

San Francisco kicks off its season on April 6 on the road at the Arizona Diamondbacks.
