Harper missed a significant amount of time in 2014 because of a thumb injury. In 100 games last year, Harper batted .273 with 13 home runs and 32 RBIs.
The Nationals finished last season 96-66, the best record in the NL. They lost to the San Francisco Giants in the NLDS.
Washington will start the 2015 season on April 6, at home against the New York Mets.
