Yankees' Alex Rodriguez singles for first hit of season
New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez singled in the bottom of the fifth inning on Monday for his first hit of 2015.

Rodriguez, 39, batted seventh as the Yankees' DH, marking his first game action since he was suspended for the entire 2014 season due to his use of performance-enhancing drugs and his role in the Biogenesis scandal.
In 19 spring training games, Rodriguez hit .267 with three home runs, four RBIs and 13 strikeouts in 45 at-bats.
