Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre hit a home run while on one knee on Thursday.
Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre hit a home run while dropping to one knee on Thursday against the Oakland Athletics.
The home run came in the top of the seventh inning with the Rangers already up 8-0. It was a solo homer to left-center off A's pitcher Evan Scribner.

Texas went on to win the game 10-1. Beltre's home run was one of four on the day for the Rangers.
Beltre has homered from one knee before, including during the 2011 World Series, as seen below.
Both the Rangers and Athletics are now 2-2 on the season after splitting their season-opening series.
