Athletics to activate RF Josh Reddick on Sunday
The Oakland Athletics are expected to activate rightfielder Josh Reddick from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday, reports MLB.com's Jane Lee.
Reddick sustained a strained right oblique and appeared in only one Cactus League spring training game for the A's. The 28-year-old was placed on the DL on April 4, retroactive to March 27, and later sent for a rehab assignment on Wednesday.

[daily_cut.mlb]Reddick appeared in 109 games for the A's last season, heading to the disabled list twice with right knee injuries. Over 396 plate appearances, he batted .264 with 12 home runs, 54 RBI and a .763 OPS.
The A's opened the season 3-3, losing to the Seattle Mariners5–4 in 11 innings on Saturday.
With Reddick out of the lineup, rookie Mark Canha has taken advantage of increased at-bats with eight hits, including four doubles and a home run, in four games. Canha played first base on Saturday after two games in leftfield.
