Dodgers place Yasiel Puig (hamstring) on disabled list
The Los Angeles Dodgers placed outfielder Yasiel Puig on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday with a left hamstring strain.
The Dodgers also put righthander Joel Peralta on the 15-day DL with a "dead arm," promoted righthanders Scott Baker and Carlos Frias to the active roster and placed righthander Brandon League on the 60-day disabled list due to ongoing shoulder issues.
Puig was held out of Saturday's game after reinjuring his left hamstring during Friday's 3–0 win over the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Puig first sustained the injury last week, missing four of five starts with what was described at the time as a "tight" left hamstring.
