Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley will come off the disabled list and start Sunday, Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale told reporters Monday.

On April 28, Bradley was hit in the face by a line drive off the bat of Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, but after several minutes walked off the field under his own power. His face was visibly swollen as he came off the field. According toThe Denver Post, the speed of the ball off Gonzalez's bat was measured at 115 mph.

Bradley never lost consciousness, but was taken to the hospital for testing. The following day, Bradley was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

According to Steve Gilbert of MLB.com, Hale said Bradley pitched in a simulated game, and had a ball "hit back up the middle and didn't flinch."

The Diamondbacks will be on the road, playing the Philadelphia Phillies this weekend. Sunday's game will be the series finale.

In four games this season, Bradley is 2–0 with an ERA of 1.80 and 14 strikeouts.
