After meeting with his agent, Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki said Thursday he has not demanded a trade from the team and won't do so in the future, according to the Denver Post

"I did meet with my agent. I think the one thing that I do want to make clear is, I don't know where the talk came from of me demanding a trade. There was no talk like that. There never has been," Tulowitzki said.

"There's no angry guy in a clubhouse that says, 'I demand a trade.'"

In 91 games in 2014, Tulowitzki hit .340 with 21 home runs. But his year was cut short do to season-ending hip surgery.

In 2015, Tulowitzki has so far hit .303 with two home runs in 30 games.

The Rockies are 11-19 and in an 11-game losing streak, prompting some to believe the team would aim to deal the shortstop now in exchange for younger talent.
