Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw earns 100th career win
Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw won his 100th career game Friday in Los Angeles's 6–4 defeat of the Colorado Rockies.
Kershaw lasted 6 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs on four hits and three walks. He departed with two outs and runners on first and second in the top of the seventh inning. Paco Rodriguez relieved him and allowed two runs to score, which were charged to Kershaw. Four more relievers finished the game to preserve the Dodgers' and Kershaw's victory.
With 10 strikeouts, Kershaw also passed Matt Cain and Ervin Santana to reach 22nd among active pitchers in most career strikeouts, now totaling 1,511.

The lefthander is 100-51 in 217 starts over eight seasons for Los Angeles.
Kershaw, who turned 27 on March 19, is 28th in wins among active pitchers and is the youngest pitcher to record his 100th win since Felix Hernandez did so in 2013. Kershaw achieved the mark eight weeks and one day after his 27th birthday, while Hernandez recorded the feat two weeks after he turned 27.

Kershaw entered Friday's game 1–2 with a 4.24 ERA this season.
