Diamondbacks trade OF Mark Trumbo to Mariners
The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded outfielder Mark Trumbo to the Seattle Mariners, Arizona announced on Tuesday.
The Mariners also receive pitcher Vidal Nuno. In exchange, the Diamondbacks acquire catcher Welington Castillo, pitcher Dominic Leone, minor league infielder Jack Reinheimer and minor league outfielder Gabby Guerrero.
Trumbo is hitting .259 with nine home runs and 23 RBIs this season. The 29-year-old made his debut with the Los Angeles Angels in 2010 and was an All-Star in 2012.
Nuno has given up three earned runs in 14 1/3 innings this season for the Mariners.
The Cubs traded Castillo to Seattle last month. The 28-year-old is hitting .162 with two home runs and seven RBIs in 30 games.

Leone, 23, has pitched 11 1/3 innings for Seattle this year, giving up eight earned runs. He was 8–2 with a 2.17 ERA in 57 relief appearances last season.
Prior to the season, Baseball America ranked Guerrero as Seattle's No. 7 prospect. He's currently at the Double A level, along with Reinheimer.
The Diamondbacks (25–27) are currently in fourth place in the NL West, while the Mariners (24–29) are in fourth in the AL West.
