After dominating the early voting, only four members of the Kansas City Royals will start the All-Star Game in Cincinnati after starters for both teams were announced Sunday

Catcher Salvador Perez, shortstop Alcides Escobar and outfielders Lorenzo Cain and Alex Gordon will represent their team at the All-Star Game in Cincinnati.

In the voting update released June 15, eight of the nine leading vote-getters were Royals, including Omar Infante, who has the lowest on-base percentage among qualified hitters.

Other notable selections include Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout and Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper.

At least three players will have to be replaced in the lineup—Miguel Cabrera, Giancarlo Stanton and Matt Holliday are currently injured.
