Rangers OF Shin-Soo Choo hits for the cycle
Texas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo hit for the cycle on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies.
Choo doubled in the second inning, homered in the fourth, singled in the fifth and tripled in the ninth to accomplish the feat. He joins Boston Red Sox utilityman Brock Holt as the only players to complete the cycle this season.
The Rangers won the game 9–0. Choo finished with a batting line of 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored. His triple was only his second of the season.
Choo is the eighth player in Rangers history to hit for the cycle in a game and the first since Alex Rios did so in 2013.

Choo entered Tuesday hitting .226 with 11 home runs and 39 RBIs.
