Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta threw a no-hitter on Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgersin a 2–0 victory. It was the sixth no-hitter of the 2015 season and the third this month.

Arrieta issued just one walk and struck out 12, including all three batters of the ninth. Starlin Castro’s error in the third inning allowed Enrique Hernandez to reach base.

The only runs in the game came when Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant hit a two-run homer in the top of the first inning.  It was Arrieta’s first career no-hitter and the third complete game shutout of his career.

Chase Utley made the game’s final out, striking out on a curveball in the dirt. You can watch the final out here.

Chris Heston, Max Scherzer, Cole Hamels, Hisashi Iwakuma and Mike Fiers are the only other pitchers to accomplish the feat this season. The Dodgers were also the victim in Fiers’ no-no on Aug. 21.

Arrieta is the first Cubs pitcher to throw a no-hitter since Carlos Zambrano in 2008.
