Long security lines have held fans up at Yankee Stadium.
Long security lines have delayed fans from reaching their seats for Tuesday’s AL wild-card game at Yankee Stadium.
The game between the Yankees and Astros was scheduled to begin at 8:08 p.m. After 8:45 p.m., many fans still appeared to be in line waiting to get past security. A Yankees spokesman told SportsBusiness Journal’s Eric Fisher the delays were “in part” the result of a medical emergency at Gate 6.
Fans tweeted about delays at multiple gates. Some fans completely missed the first two innings of the game.
