Adrian Beltre’s agent hopeful he will sign extension with Rangers
Agent Scott Boras expressed optimism on Monday that veteran third baseman Adrian Beltre will sign a contract extension with the Texas Rangers, according to Fox Sports’ JP Morosi. Beltre, 36, is entering the final year of a five-year, $80 million deal he signed with the team in 2011.
“I think Adrian already had a discussion with them, in which he expressed a desire to stay,” Boras told Fox Sports. “They want him there, and we're going to work on that.”
