Braves relief pitcher John Gant made his major league debut on Wednesday night, and immediately captured the attention of everyone watching with his unconventional pitching delivery.
Gant was lifting his leg again and again, tapping his plant foot, and changing his grip constantly. Somehow, his delivery is legal, and not a balk.
Gant worked a scoreless ninth in a 3–1 loss against the Nationals.
