Fire reported at U.S. Cellular Field before White Sox opener vs. Indians

A fire was reported at U.S. Cellular Field early Friday morning ahead of the White Sox’s home opener against the Cleveland Indians, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Chicago Police Bomb and Arson unit is investigating the cause of the fire, which broke out at around 2:25 a.m. in a storage room inside the park, according to ABC 7 Chicago.
One firefighter sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

A spokesperson for the White Sox said Friday’s game against the Indians, which is scheduled to start 4:10 p.m. ET, is not expected to be delayed.
The White Sox are 3–1 after opening their season on the road with a four-game series against the Athletics.
