The White Sox turned a triple play against the Astros on Wednesday, their second of the season.
They flipped it the classic way, too, 5–4–3 style off a hard-hit grounder to third. Todd Frazier stepped on third and fired to Brett Lawrie, who stepped on second, who turned just in time to get it to first baseman Jose Abreu and beat the speedy George Springer.
The play bailed out reliever Dan Jennings, who had walked the previous two batters, and kept the deficit at 5–3.
.@WhiteSox have turned TWO triple plays this season.

The Sox let the Astros know about it, too. They turned the first one against the Rangers earlier this year.

Chicago last turned multiple triple plays in a season in 2006. They are the first team to complete the feat since the 2007 Phillies.
