Nationals slugger Bryce Harper was ejected from Saturday's game against the Rockies after screaming at home plate umpire Mike Winters and tossing his helmet in the 10th inning.

Harper, who was 1 for 4 on the day with an RBI double, was rung up on a sweeping slider that broke over the outside part of home plate. He immediately turned around, threw his helmet, and began berating Winters. He was immediately run.

The ejection was the second of the season for Harper, and the eighth of his career. He appeared to have a legitimate case.

Washington fell behind Colorado in the seventh, but was lifted in the bottom of the ninth by a two-out RBI single by Jayson Werth to tie the game and send it to extra innings.
