Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor belted a two-run home run off Toronto Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada in the sixth inning to give Cleveland a 2–0 lead it would not relinquish in taking Game 1 of the ALCS.

Lindor, 22, hit a changeup from Estrada into right-center field.

Lindor is the first Indian since Kenny Lofton in the 1998 American League Division Series to hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning or later of a postseason game, according to Katie Sharp of RiverAvenueBlues.com.
