The Nationals won their first World Series title Wednesday night, but they weren't the only Washington team celebrating.

The Washington Capitals, the 2018 Stanley Cup champions, gathered to support the Nationals in their Game 7 contest against the Astros. A number of players, including Alexander Ovechkin, erupted in celebration following the Nats' win.

The Nationals defeated the Astros 6-2 in Game 7. Washington's title-winning rally was capped by Howie Kendrick's two-run homer off the foul pole in right field in the seventh inning.
