The Astros and Mariners are battling for the final wild card spot in the American League and on Wednesday night that battle almost included an actual fight, as the benches cleared in their game in Seattle.

This all happened after Astros pitcher Hector Neris struck out Julio Rodríguez to end the sixth inning. Neris then went right at Rodriguez instead of going to the dugout and had some words to say to Seattle’s star player.

Both benches and bullpens quickly came running out on the field and it looked like a brawl might break out. While that was going on, however, Neris was seen storming off to the dugout. It seemed like the guy who started things quickly didn’t want any part of it.
