Bryce Harper Brings Some Deion Sanders Swagger to Ballpark for Braves-Phillies Game 3

The Phillies slugger is looking for the Prime Effect.

After the Braves' thrilling win in Game 2 of the National League Division Series, the Phillies may still be shaking off some shock. Atlanta arguably has the emotional momentum going into Wednesday's Game 3.

That may be why Bryce Harper decided he needed a little extra swagger as he arrived at Citizens Bank Park. The star slugger was seen wearing a Deion Sanders "Coach Prime" t-shirt on his way to the clubhouse.

Colorado's football coach might not approve of Harper's overall ensemble of a flannel shirt and jeans. But Sanders would surely enjoy being a source of inspiration going into a crucial Game 3 upon which the division series could pivot. And that mullet would probably look good under one of Coach Prime's signature cowboy hats.

Harper probably doesn't need the help. The first baseman is hitting .500 (3-for-6) with a home run and three walks thus far in the series. But his baserunning blunder also led to Game 2's final out. Invoking the Prime Effect or trying to make the matchup personal surely can't hurt.

Other Phillies are using t-shirts for inspiration as well, judging from Orion Kerkering's attire upon his arrival at the ballpark.

Game 3 of the Braves-Phillies NLDS at Citizens Bank Park begins at 5:07 p.m. ET. The broadcast can be seen on TBS and Max.
