Nick Castellanos’s Son Liam Had the Best Reaction to His Dad’s Second Home Run

The Phillies right fielder crushed a pitch in the eighth inning on Wednesday night.

One fan stood out in the crowd amongst the rest when Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos crushed his second home run on Wednesday night during Game 3 of the NLDS against the Braves.

When Castellanos hit his 449-foot home run in the bottom of the eighth inning, the TBS broadcast panned to one kid looking ecstatic in the stands of Citizen Bank Park. But it wasn’t just any kid—it was Castellanos’s son, Liam.

The broadcast showed Liam putting his hands on his face with a shocked expression.

Castellanos’s two home runs on Wednesday night helped the Phillies secure a 10–2 win and take a 2–1 lead in the NLDS. The Phillies also tied an MLB postseason record by hitting six home runs in one game.

Philadelphia needs just one more win in order to advance to the NLCS.
