A Momentary Blackout at a Tense Moment Left Phillies and Diamondbacks Fans Seething

Fans were fuming after a brief blackout during the TBS broadcast of NLCS Game 3.

MLB fans were not happy with the TBS broadcast of NLCS Game 3 on Thursday after a big moment in the game was missed due to a momentary blackout .

With a runner on third base and two outs in the seventh inning, Diamondbacks’ Geraldo Perdomo hit a hard ground ball back at Phillies pitcher Jose Alvarado. At the moment the ball hit Alvardo’s glove, fans watching on TBS experienced a brief blackout on their screen.

The broadcast resumed as Philadelphia’s defense was beginning to walk off the field after recording an inning-ending out at first base.

Of course, fans back home missed the impressive snag from Alvarado on the mound, and his toss to first base. It was a significant moment in the game, considering a ball getting through the infield would’ve resulted in a go-ahead run scoring for Arizona.

Fans watching on TBS took to social media to express their dismay over the momentary blackouts, blasting the network for its inadequate broadcast.
