It didn’t take long for some runs to get on the board during Game 6 of the ALCS. After the Astros scored in the bottom of the first inning, Rangers catcher Mitch Garver evened things up on the first pitch of the second inning, launching a solo home run to right-center field.

Garver’s home run was electric, but even more so was the fan who nonchalantly caught the ball with his bare hand, and hardly had a reaction at all afterwards.

A man sporting LSU Tigers gear could be seen calmly raising his hands and snagging the baseball in mid-air. After his impressive barehanded catch, he acted so nonchalantly that it was like the moment had never even happened.

Without as much as a change in facial expression, the fan was back in his seat and intently watching the game just moments later.

Despite the fans seated in the row ahead of him tracking the ball with their baseball mitts at the ready, it was the man in LSU gear who came away with the ball in the seats at Minute Maid Park.

Commentators Joe Davis and John Smoltz were most impressed with the fan’s one-handed snag, chuckling about the barehanded catch on the broadcast after Garver’s home run.
