In the midst of celebrating the Rangers’ first championship, World Series MVP Corey Seager seized a golden opportunity to cleverly troll the division rival Astros during Friday’s victory parade in Arlington.

Seager’s epic clapback took aim at Astros star Alex Bregman for his viral “Guess we’ll never know” quote after Houston won its third-straight AL West title and its sixth in the last seven years. Considering how the playoffs turned out, however, Texas’s title run paved the way for Seager to perfectly flip Bregman’s comment to commemorate the historic celebration.

“We appreciate all your support but I just got one thing to say,” Seager told the raucous crowd of supporters. “You know, everybody was wondering what would happen if the Rangers didn’t win the World Series. I guess we’ll never know.”

After delivering in the Rangers’ five-game series win against the Diamondbacks, Seager, now a two-time World Series MVP, somehow found a way to record yet another dinger courtesy of his timely mic drop.

Of course, while things were already at a fever pitch, the tension between the Rangers and Astros figures to still be in full swing next season after their memorable ALCS clash this postseason.
