The same day Shohei Ohtani announced that he is signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Angels are already removing the Shohei Ohtani mural that sits in front of the stadium.

The murals in front of the stadium usually feature some of the more premiere players on the Angels roster.

Removing Ohtani's mural from the stadium is the nail in the coffin that their once-in-a-generation superstar is officially gone and is headed up the I-5 North freeway to Chavez Ravine.

Ohtani originally signed with the Angels on Dec. 8, 2017. During his time with the organization, he was a two-time American League MVP, 2018 Rookie of the Year, two-time Silver Slugger and three-time All-Star.

Throughout his time with the Angels, he always emphasized that he wanted to win.

Unfortunately, the Angels could never figure it out despite having Mike Trout in the lineup as well. The Angels never had one winning season with Ohtani and never reached the postseason in his six-year tenure.

This officially signals a new age of Angels baseball, and they have tons of questions to answer.
