Say this for Tyler Anderson in his second spring training: he's throwing strikes.

Anderson will take the mound Thursday against the Chicago White Sox for his team-leading fourth start of the Cactus League season. So far, the veteran left-hander has allowed 10 hits — but only three runs — in 8.1 innings. He hasn't walked or hit a batter while striking out 10.

Score one for organic pace-of-play improvement initiatives.

Predictions

Mike Moustakas, whom the Angels lost in free agency, is battling to make the White Sox's roster and will have a big game in front of the Camelback Ranch faithful. 4-3 White Sox.
