In this story:

Amidst the losses of Shohei Ohtani, David Fletcher, Max Stassi, and more, outfielder Jo Adell has entered the fold as yet another Halo that could hit the trade market this offseason.

Angels insider Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register laid out the idea of a potential Adell trade this offseason:

"The Angels also could trade outfielder Jo Adell, who is going to be out of options in 2024."

Adell is slated to be out of options in 2024, and currently sitting at 4th on the depth chart behind Mike Trout, Taylor Ward, and Mickey Moniak, other teams across the league could find more value in him than the Angels.

That said, all three of the Halos' starting outfielders have missed quite a bit of time over the past few seasons, so it's fair to almost expect the 24-year-old to receive near-starter level playing time.

The former 10th overall pick has struggled mightily in his MLB career, though, slashing just .207/.258/.448 in 2023 with 0.2 WAR.

Don't expect much a ton in return if he's dealt, but if he sticks around, expect to see a fair share of him on an Angels team that will be looking for consistent contributors in 2024 and beyond.
