During the Angels opening Cactus League game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, third baseman Michael Stefanic exited the game due to a left quad strain.

Stefanic started the game due to Anthony Rendon wanting to push his debut back to Sunday. The Angels will now be on the injury watch to make sure it isn't anything too serious.

He played in 10 games for the Halos last season, hitting .250 with four hits. Stefanic didn't register any home runs or runs batted in during his time with the team.
