Angels Infielder Still Not Progressing Well From Injury
The Los Angeles Angels are already suffering injuries to their depth pieces. One player who sustained an injury a couple of weeks ago is infielder Michael Stefanic.
Stefanic suffered a quad injury, and his progress isn't encouraging. According to Jeff Flecther of the OC Register, Stefanic isn't processing as well as he hoped he would at this time.
"Infielder Michael Stefanic (quad) resumed running Wednesday after taking a couple of days off because he wasn’t feeling as good as he’d hoped. Stefanic has continued to hit and do defensive work."

Two weeks ago, Stefanic exited the first spring training game against the Dodgers due to a left quad strain. He's yet to return to action.
The 28-year-old found some success with the Halos in 2023, slashing .290/.380/.355 across 71 plate appearances last season in the big leagues.
The good news is that he will remain active in his recovery process. The Halos are about two weeks away from the start of the regular season when they take on the Baltimore Orioles on the road.
Stefanic has plenty of time to ramp up for the regular season, but this news isn't that promising. We'll keep an eye on his recovery process closely as we get closer to Opening Day.
