The Los Angeles Angels have announced another pitcher they've sent to minor league camp.
Per the Angels PR team, the Halos have sent down right-handed pitcher Walbert Ureña to minor league camp.
The 20-year-old pitching prospect pitched in two games for the Halos in spring ball. He recorded a 1-0 record with a 4.50 ERA, three strikeouts, and a 1.00 WHIP in four innings.
He's spent most of his time with the Angels Single-A team. In his minor league career, he's gone 7-11 with a 5.16 ERA, 142 strikeouts, and a 1.55 WHIP in 136 innings pitched and 34 games.
Ureña is still just 20 years old, and has tons of time to continue to grow as a major leaguer. He already showed flashes in camp this year.
