In this story:

Like every MLB team, your Los Angeles Angels have four minor league affiliates. In Single-A, it's the Inland Empire 66ers, High-A Sri-City Dust Devils, Triple-A Salt Lake Bees, and Double-A Rocket City Trash Pandas. Minor league teams don't get enough media attention or any attention from the casual fan, but that all changed yesterday for the Halos, Double-A team, Rocket City Trash Pandas.

The Trash Pandas did something you could only believe if you saw the game, and even then, you probably wouldn't believe it. They faced off against the Cincinnati Reds affiliate, Chattanooga Lookouts, and threw a no-hitter in Saturday's match.

The Trash Pandas still lost the game! Take a look at this wild box score.

I know what you're thinking; how in the heck did they happen? Here's how it went down.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas were leading 3-0 in the seventh inning. In that inning, Chattanooga scored seven runs despite not registering a hit. All seven runs were scored on six walks and three hit-by-pitches. At that point, they were down 7-3, and they were all able to register two other runs, but it wasn't enough.

Trash Pandas pitcher Coleman Crow was responsible for most of the no-hitter, going six hitless innings, walking two, and recording six strikeouts. Pitcher Ben Joyce only pitched 2/3 innings and gave up five runs (one earned run), four walks, and registered the loss. Their last pitcher, Eric Torres, recorded one out before walking a batter and gave up two earned runs.

The box score is crazy enough, but reading what happened is even crazier. The Trash Pandas became the first team in the minors to record a no-hitter but took the loss and fell to 0-2 in the season.

You can't make this up, people.
