Angels News: Anthony Rendon Caught on Camera Confronting Rude Fan

Tensions were obviously very high after the Los Angeles Angels took their first loss of the season at the hands of the Oakland Athletics. It was a pretty mellow game with the final score being 2-1.
However, the energy certainly took a turn when the Angels were leaving RingCentral Coliseum. Anthony Rendon was caught on video grabbing a fan by their shirt and attempting to hit them in the face.
See for yourself here.
No idea what the full context is here, but it would appear that Anthony Rendon is about that action. Bro was a couple inches away from being able to say he caught a left in front of Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani though. pic.twitter.com/jdFliAtvsr

In the clip, you can hear Rendon accusing the fan of calling him an offensive slur and also spewing his own profanity at him. Just before he let go of the fan, he threw his hand at him and just missed.
Rendon did not have the best game as he stepped up to the plate three times and struck out twice while only making it to first base on a walk. Nobody likes losing and if this fan actually said what Rendon accused him off, he definitely caught him at the wrong moment.
Neither Rendon nor the fan have commented on the situation but we'll be sure to keep you updated on what happens next. Hopefully neither Rendon nor the fan were hurt in this matter.
Fans couldn't believe what they were seeing on Twitter.
It’s the first game of the season and the Angels are blowing up. Trout and Othani should demand out already.

Rendon needs to get suspended and fined for this, simply cannot put your hands on a fan like this. Fan is likely in the wrong too, tough to tell w/out more info, but if he is, should be banned from the ballpark as well

Lowkey pretty unprofessional by Rendon. He’s been in the league long enough to know better
