Angels News: Fans React to Aaron Judge Winning MVP Over Shohei Ohtani

Aaron Judge has officially won the AL MVP Award over Angels' two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani. Both players had incredible seasons, and it's safe to say any other year Ohtani would have taken home the award. But instead, it was Judge winning his first career MVP.
Ohtani did come in second in the voting, but only had two first-place votes, to Judge's 28. So clearly, there wasn't much of a decision, and baseball fans had a lot to say about that.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the results.
Judge threw 0.0 innings this year. End of story. Should’ve been Ohtani. He’s two players in 1. There is nothing more valuable than that.

Ohtani is the best player in the MLB but the MVP had to have ultimately impacted his team's end result. As great as Ohtani is his team missed the playoffs with him and would have without him as well, the Yankees probably go from winning the AL East to last without Judge.

Fans had a lot to say on both sides of the argument. But either way, Judge and Ohtani put together two of the best and most historic seasons in baseball history, and that's worth celebrating.
Ohtani won in 2021. Judge won in 2022. Maybe it'll be Ohtani's turn again in 2023.
