Your Los Angeles Angels are home to two of the biggest stars in American sports in Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout. They both have changed the game of baseball in their own regard and fans of the game were spoiled when they got to see the two of them face off against one another in the championship

Even though he’s only been to the postseason once in his 13-season career, many athletes in this generation grew up idolizing Trout. He immediately made his presence during his electric rookie year and it is still talked about to this day.

Trout embodies what many kids look up to in the game of baseball due to his reputation for producing some massive hits and also making insane catches in the outfield. Even though he is is just 31-years-old, it feels like he’s been dominating the league for much longer.

And his impact reaches out even to those athletes who opted to pursue a different professional sports career.

NFL fans just may be familiar with star WR Brandon Marshall, who is most remembered for his time with the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears. Marshall was able to make it the Pro-Bowl six times and also was named a First Team All-Pro once in the 2012 season.

A popular Instagram media page known as @BatBoysBaseball landed a fun interview with Marshall recently and the retired football star recognized Trout as the biggest MLB star in the game right now and followed up with a bold statement.

"Right now, I'm throwing easy 82," said Marshall. "If I train, I can get up to 97, can get that get me into the big leagues? Who's the greatest baseball players right now active... Trout and Ohtani. I'll strike Trout out."

We always love a little friendly competition but we all know what would happen if this matchup went down!
