As the Angels took a much-needed off day on Monday after an impressive home stand saw LA go 6-3, closer Carlos Estevez has set the bar high for playoff celebrations.

The Angels are 4 games behind in the American League Wild Card race and the pressure is on for a club struggling with injuries and trade rumors around the future of star player Shohei Ohtani.

Estevez didn't mince words when he tweeted what he would do when the Angels punch their ticket to the postseason.

"After we clinch playoffs, after we celebrate on the field I'm going to do the naruto run to the center field wall."

While the Angels' path to the playoffs is full of opportunities for disappointment, Estevez seems confident in LA's ability to turn their season around.

Estevez was named to his first All-Star team in 2023 and the 30-year-old has been one of the best closers in Major League Baseball. Estevez holds a 2.03 ERA and 23 saves in 41 appearances.

Estevez was a massive part of the Angels' last three wins, letting up just one hit across three innings.

Time will tell if Estevez's bold prediction will come true, but lord knows the Internet will not let him forget it if the Angels don't end up in the postseason.
