The Los Angeles Angels made a ton of changes this past offseason. LA added some pieces that will be sure to get them over the hump and make the playoffs. One of those players who has been around the block and has experience in this league is outfielder Hunter Renfroe.

Renfroe was tarded to the Halos from the Milwaukee Brewers in late November. This is Renfroe's fifth team he's been a part of and his fourth different team in four seasons. He's spent the majority of his time in San Diego from 2016-2019, and is looking for a stable home.

The 31-year-old spoke to Angels insider of the Athletic Sam Blum that he hopes to stay in Anaheim long-term.

“That would be fantastic, to find a spot,” Renfroe said. “However many more years that may be. Four, five, six, seven, eight more years, and finish out the career there. Have a home base and a nice friend group.”

In the three seasons prior, Hunter has been with the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers before ending up in Anaheim this season.

Renfroe is under a one-year contract worth $11.9 million, and he will be looking for a new contract (hopefully with the Angels) at the end of the season. The outfielder did express why he wants to remain an Angel, and that's all because of the vision general manager Perry Minasian has for his squad.

“When Perry (Minasian, the Angels’ general manager) called me, he kind out outlined his whole thought process and what he wanted to do,” Renfroe said. “And obviously his bottom line was that he wanted to win a championship and bring it home here. And I was like, ‘Hell, I’m all in.’”

It's tough not to be excited for the Halos, they have the two best players in the world and much better pieces surrounding the superstars, including Hunter. He's starting off the season on a high note, batting .295 with three home runs, nine RBIs, and a .972 OPS.

If Hunter keeps up his good play, we could see him be an Angel for quite some time.
